Job summary

Archon Protection, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard residential communities and commercial facilities in Ventura County. You will patrol sites, document incidents, enforce rules, and maintain safety.

Extensive training is provided by a Security Supervisor, with local candidates preferred for graveyard shifts. Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to obtain/hold a California BSIS Guard Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to obtain a California Guard Card (BSIS) or hold current certification.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Criminal history background check required (DOJ/FBI).
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Able to work graveyard shifts and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols of client locations to deter disturbances.
• Write detailed reports based on observations and incidents.
• Enforce rules and regulations per client request.
• Secure site amenity areas and parking areas.
• Perform GPS checks and note locations of concerns.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and report to authorities as needed.
• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe environment at all times.
