Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity for Gravel Truck Drivers in our Boise Area.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate safe and productive driving operations using various equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and listen actively.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all personnel to ensure safety and quality work.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues.
  • Perform physical activities such as standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking.
  • Conduct daily equipment and site inspections, correct unsafe conditions, and maintain equipment.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection forms accurately.
  • Perform daily housekeeping on trucks.
  • Operate and maintain trucks safely.
  • Properly load, secure, and unload materials.
  • Complete load tickets accurately where applicable.
  • Communicate effectively under high-stress situations and work well with difficult people. Maintain positive customer relations and act courteously and respectfully.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to material quality and equipment operation/repair.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience operating commercial vehicles.
  • Knowledge of construction operations.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and CDL required.
  • Ability to work day and night shifts, which may vary.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
