Job summary

DHT Group is hiring four experienced Gravel Train / Doubles Drivers for our Newport, Michigan operation. This is a local, home-daily, full-time position paying $25–$28 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL-A with T endorsement, a valid medical card, and at least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A experience, including gravel train work. Local routes offer stability and family-friendly schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and T endorsement.
• Valid medical card and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• 6+ months gravel train experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate gravel train / doubles equipment
• Complete pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections
• Couple and uncouple trailers and connect air/electrical lines
• Monitor load weight and distribution
• Maintain required DOT logs and documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and coworkers
• Comply with weigh-station requirements
• Maintain DHT safety and compliance standards

DHT Group is hiring four experienced Gravel Train / Doubles Drivers for our Newport, Michigan operation.

This is a local, home-daily position paying $25–$28 per hour, depending on qualifications, for experienced drivers who know gravel trains and take pride in operating safely, professionally, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Acceptable driving record
