Job summary

DHT Group in Reese, MI is seeking experienced seasonal CDL-A gravel train/doubles drivers for the beet campaign. Local work, home daily, with $25/hour DOE. Primary task is beet transfer and safe operation of gravel train/doubles equipment during harvest.

This seasonal role can lead to full-time employment in the spring; veterans are encouraged to apply. You’ll perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and work with dispatch to meet the campaign's demanding schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Doubles endorsement required.
• Medical card must be current.
• Acceptable driving record as defined by company.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Minimum 6 months gravel train experience.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform beet transfer work during the sugar beet campaign.
• Safely operate Gravel Train / Doubles equipment.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Manage proper loading and weight distribution.
• Properly couple and uncouple equipment.
• Maintain accurate, DOT-compliant logs.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
• Follow all DHT and DOT safety procedures.
• Perform other driving assignments as operational needs require.

DHT is hiring experienced Gravel Train / Doubles Drivers based out of Reese, Michigan for the upcoming sugar beet campaign.

$25/HR DOE

The primary assignment will be beet transfer, helping keep Michigan's sugar beet harvest moving safely and efficiently.

This is a seasonal beet campaign position with the opportunity for full-time employment with DHT in the spring.

Requirements

• Acceptable driving record
• Valid Med card
• CDLA
• T endorsement
• At least one year of verifiable CDLA truck driving experience
• At least 6 months of gravel train experience

Preferred Requirements

• At least 6 months of dump experience

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
