Job summary

Clean Water Action in Pittsburgh is hiring Grassroots Organizers to join our phone canvass team. The role is part-time, evenings, in-person, with compensation of $18 an hour and bonus opportunities.

You will engage members on environmental justice issues, PFAS bans, and anti-pollution campaigns. You will receive hands-on training, develop outreach skills, and contribute to campaigns and get-out-the-vote efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and attention to detail.

• Interest in non-profit, campaigns, policy or politics.
• Enjoy connecting with people and making real change.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one communication with members and collecting calls-to-actions for lawmakers.
• Fundraising, spreading information, and accurate record keeping.
• Participate in grassroots organizing and get-out-the-vote work.
