Job summary

The Outreach Team is hiring in Nebraska for Community Canvassers and Team Leaders. Positions pay $25–$26 per hour with bonuses, and both full-time and part-time roles are available. Join a campaign effort to engage Nebraskans through door-to-door outreach and survey collection.

We offer paid training at $20/hr for the first three days, with team leads earning $26/hour. Opportunities for advancement exist as the campaign runs through 11/3/26.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; enjoy speaking with people.

• Open to new challenges and campaign skills development.
• Culturally competent and able to engage respectfully.
• Prior canvassing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Deliver a compelling campaign message and collect survey answers.
• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills.
• Follow the campaign's safety protocols.
• Manage a small group of canvassers in the field.
• Ensure each canvasser has materials needed to be successful.
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work.
