Description

Position: Grass Cutter

Type: Part-Time - $12.00 an hour

General Purpose

To perform various duties related to outdoor maintenance for the City of Wheeling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Cut grass
2. Ensure work zone safety
3. Maintain and operate equipment, including cleaning, greasing, washing, and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor

Work Environment

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, hot, cold, wet, humid conditions, and loud environments.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to use hands and fingers, reach with arms, stand, talk, hear, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and smell. Occasionally may lift up to 50 lbs.
