Job summary

Summit Bodyworks seeks a Graphics Installer to design, prepare, and install vinyl decals, lettering, and wraps for vehicles and other surfaces. Work may occur in the shop or at customer sites, supporting production through decals and related tasks.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service, with a focus on quality and timely delivery. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Graphics Installer, you will provide top notch service, design, products, and installation for business, organization, and personal projects. Using leading-edge design and installation techniques each order you work on is tailored to customer specifications to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare vehicles for installation of vinyl decals, lettering, and wraps
• Install vinyl decals on various vehicles and other surfaces
• Installation may be in our facility or a customer’s facility
• Assist team with decal production as needed
• Writing up work orders.
• Assist production with printing, laminating, weeding, cutting, and other duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by hiring manager.

Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Requires standing for prolonged periods of time
• Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.
• Comfortable with heights (climbing ladders, scaffolding, etc.)
• Ability to accurately read ruler measurements
• Ability to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, ensuring all materials, tools and equipment are in their proper place and the work area is clean and free of debris and clutter
• Ensure all tools and equipment are returned at end of day to the proper location; ensure all assigned work areas are ready for start of next shift
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe manner

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills

• Advanced Experience in difficult wrap installs/fenders/ complex shapes, large scale installs/ trucks/ semis

• Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

• Compensation Range: $24.00 - $27.00

• Reports To: Graphics Manager
• Shift: 1st (M–F 7:00am–3:30pm)
