The Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning Test Engineering organizations play a crucial role in the success and delivery of nearly every major Apple product. We are involved with everything except watch bands! Our teams have contributed to innovations such as Metal, Reference Mode on iPad Pro, ProMotion on iPhone and iPad, third-party game controller support, and Apple Silicon on Mac. We serve as the testing arm of our engineering teams, collaborating closely to develop test plans, execute them, and refine testing throughout development cycles.
The Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning team seeks a skilled, self-motivated test engineer passionate about gaming and enhancing the macOS, iOS, and tvOS gaming experiences. You will work with the latest Apple products to ensure optimal gaming performance and competitiveness across platforms. Your focus will be on testing graphics, technologies, and overall gaming quality, working with engineering teams and third-party developers to uphold product standards. This role emphasizes developing and executing automation for graphics technology (Metal), display tech, and gaming features on hardware and software.
The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage complex projects under pressure. Collaboration and adaptability are essential.
