Job summary

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to produce brand-aligned visuals, templates, and campaigns. This role emphasizes brand templating platforms, collaboration with stakeholders, and maintaining high visual standards across print and digital media.

You will create reusable visual assets, manage projects from concept to completion, ensure accessibility, and apply LBNL’s color palette and typography.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related field with 2+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Proficiency with Canva, Marq, Adobe CC apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.

Responsibilities

• Receive design assignments and deliver brand-compliant visuals, templates, and campaigns.
• Design templates in Canva and Marq for presentations, social media graphics, flyers, and reports.
• Produce publications, printed materials, presentations, and websites for diverse clients.
• Ensure correct use of LBNL styles, color palettes, logos, and fonts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives, audience, and brand voice.
• Develop a library of reusable visual assets for cross-channel consistency.
• Ensure accessibility standards and adherence to brand guidelines.
