Job summary

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory seeks a skilled Graphic Designer to produce brand-compliant visual content, templates, and campaigns. You will work with Canva, Marq, and Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring consistency with LBNL styles across print and digital media in a collaborative research setting.

You will develop reusable visual assets, manage multiple projects, and uphold accessibility and quality standards within a hybrid work environment at Berkeley Lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Fine Arts/Graphic Design with 2+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Proficiency with Canva, Marq, Adobe CC, MS Office, and Google Apps.
• Strong branding, typography, color theory, and printing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receive design assignments and deliver visual assets, templates, and campaigns.
• Design templates in Canva and Marq for various communications materials.
• Create publications, printed materials, presentations, and websites for diverse clients.
• Ensure correct use of Berkeley Lab styles, color palette, logos, and fonts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and brand voice.
• Develop a library of reusable visual assets for cross-platform use.
• Maintain content quality and accessibility per brand guidelines.
