Echelon Services is seeking an experienced Multimedia/Graphics Designer to provide creative design, branding, and multimedia production support for one of our DoD customers. The ideal candidate will have experience producing high-quality visual materials and ensuring brand and Section 508 compliance across all digital and print deliverables.

This role supports program communication initiatives, including development of visual assets, web and SharePoint design, multimedia production, and on-site event coverage. The designer will collaborate closely with engineering, program management, and communication teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging visuals.

Responsibilities
  • Graphic Design & Branding:
    • Design a diverse range of materials including logos, icons, brochures, banners, newsletters, posters, infographics, social media graphics, and video advertisements.
    • Develop and maintain brand style guides and cohesive visual identities
    • Prepare print-ready files (CMYK, bleeds, resolution) for professional publication.
  • Multimedia Production:
    • Capture and edit video footage, produce high-quality promotional content, and create animations or motion graphics for multiple digital platforms.
    • Provide conference and event support through on-site photography, video capture, and near real-time social media graphics.
  • Web Design & Content Management:
    • Design and maintain SharePoint sites and program websites.
    • Create original artwork and assist with digital content updates, web layout optimization, and event postings.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work cross-functionally with engineering and project management teams to execute communication strategies.
    • Present design concepts, incorporate feedback, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and government customers.
    • Translate technical and operational concepts into visually compelling content.
  • Accessibility & Compliance:
    • Ensure all deliverables are Section 508 compliant, adhering to IT accessibility standards to promote usability across all audiences.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in graphic design, branding, or multimedia content production supporting DoD or federal clients.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, XD).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring Section 508 compliance.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Navy/DoD SETA programs.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint content management, Figma, or UX/UI design.
  • Experience with photography, videography, or motion graphics.
  • Strong understanding of DoD communication protocols and branding standards.
