Job summary

Synthires is seeking a Graphic and Editorial Design Expert for a fully remote, worldwide engagement. The contractor will evaluate graphic design projects, editorial layouts, and visual communication materials for quality, readability, and alignment with creative briefs.

You will review posters, publication covers, page layouts, and brand materials, assessing visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and overall presentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma.
• Hands-on experience on real design projects with briefs and client deliveries.
• Strong typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, and design principles.
• Ability to evaluate design quality and explain why one design works better.
• Strong attention to detail and visual judgment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate posters, covers, page layouts, and brand materials against briefs.
• Assess visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, color, and image-text relationships.
• Review layouts for readability, balance, and visual appeal.
• Identify production issues like file formats, resolution, margins, and color inconsistencies.
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and publication standards.
• Compare design concepts and select those meeting objectives.
• Provide clear written feedback supporting evaluations.
