Job summary

micro1 is actively seeking experienced Graphic and Editorial Design Experts to evaluate graphic design projects, editorial layouts, and visual communications for readability and alignment with creative briefs.

You will review posters, publication covers, page layouts, and brand materials, explaining your design decisions clearly and offering actionable feedback to improve typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy. Remote worldwide collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of typography, layout composition, visual hierarchy, color theory, and graphic design principles.
• Ability to evaluate design quality and explain why one design works better than another.
• Proficiency with industry tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma) and producing production-ready files.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate graphic designs, posters, publication covers, page layouts, and brand materials against briefs and audiences.
• Assess typography, spacing, color, balance, and readability across designs.
• Review layouts for readability and visual appeal; ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Identify production issues such as file formats, low-resolution images, margin errors, or color problems.
• Provide clear written explanations and constructive feedback supporting each evaluation.
• Compare design concepts and determine which best meets objectives.
