About the Position:
This role will develop high-impact visual communications supporting various company initiatives, including internal communications, leadership messaging, events, and newsletters. The designer will work independently and with the Strategic Communications Team and other departments to ensure creative outputs align with business goals, enhance brand perception, and inspire audiences.

Location: Remote, with preferences for Michigan, Illinois, Washington, California.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team and other functions to produce creative graphic solutions.
  2. Create and update content for newsletters, intranet, monitors, and other channels.
  3. Ensure all communications reflect the brand standards, mission, values, and strategic priorities.
  4. Maintain consistency with corporate branding guidelines.
  5. Work on employee communications, leadership messaging, and event materials.
  6. Partner with the Creative Team on larger initiatives and support customer-facing projects when capacity allows.
  7. Translate messaging into visually engaging stories using layout, typography, imagery, and design elements.
  8. Manage internal design files and collaborate across functions.
  9. Incorporate feedback and refine designs accordingly.
  10. Implement new communication tools and establish ongoing content processes.
  11. Advise internal teams on design best practices.
  12. Prioritize projects and communicate status to stakeholders.
  13. Stay updated on company developments and industry trends.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, 0+ years of experience, a compelling portfolio, strong layout and graphic design skills, ability to translate content into visual stories.

Preferred Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint, Publisher, MS Word, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), knowledge of Marketo, SharePoint, digital signage, HTML.

Salary & Benefits: $58,700 - $106,200 plus bonus and benefits, including health and financial benefits. Actual salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
