Job description

Location: New York, New York
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $50 - 55 per hour

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support a popular entertainment brand and create assets for their product/merchandise. In this role, you will be responsible for concepting, ideation, trend/mood boards, and graphic design of product concepts (not packaging) for merchandise sold in retail and event spaces.

This is a part-time/as-needed role and is fully remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Trend/Mood Board preparation - pulling imagery and color palettes to evoke a mood and direction for further product development.
2. Graphic design - art interpretations of elements of our shows as well as repeated pattern and icon creation.
3. Typography - logo and font usage as well as mixing typography into greater graphic design.

Qualifications:

1. Expert user in Illustrator and/or Photoshop required.
2. Experience with fonts/typography.
3. Knowledge of color story and color matching.

Skills:

1. Experience in other Adobe Creative Suite Tools is a plus.
2. Educational background in design is desired but not required.
