Job summary

US HealthConnect is seeking a Graphic Designer for Avenue Live, a subsidiary, to join our Fort Washington-based production team. This full-time role focuses on print and digital materials, delivering high-quality, on-brand designs for healthcare clients and internal team projects.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Graphic Design or related field, 2+ years of professional experience, and proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat (InDesign preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field.
• At least 2 years professional graphic design experience with print and digital portfolios.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat; InDesign preferred; PowerPoint helpful.

Responsibilities

• Execute project deliverables from concept through final design, meeting requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Design print and digital materials, including magazine layouts, social graphics, banners, and presentations.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure deliverables follow brand guidelines.
• Provide creative input and recommendations to strengthen projects.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency across work.
• Learn US HealthConnect processes, brands, products, and services to support creative needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into visual solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and efficiency.

What a day in the life of a Graphic Designer looks like:

• Execute project deliverables from concept through final design, ensuring work meets project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Design a variety of print and digital materials, including print magazine layouts, social media graphics, digital banners, presentations, and other creative assets.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure all deliverables comply with established brand guidelines.
• Provide creative input and design recommendations to strengthen project deliverables.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all creative work.
• Develop a strong understanding of US HealthConnect processes, brands, products, and services to effectively support creative needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project objectives and translate requirements into effective visual solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve established creative processes, workflows, and overall efficiency.

What we expect from qualified candidates:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• At least 2 years professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design capabilities.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Adobe InDesign will be primary application. PowerPoint experience helpful.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, branding, and digital design.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to understand project requirements and independently execute creative deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Confident, articulate, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to provide thoughtful creative input and constructive feedback.
