Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or formal training in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design or a related creative field.
• Experience working in a church or ministry environment preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and familiarity with Windows and Mac platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Airtable or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, branding, and layout.
• Ability to develop creative concepts and translate ministry objectives into visuals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent collaboration and receptiveness to feedback.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Background clearances as required by North Way.

JOB DESCRIPTION

North Way Christian Community is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Graphic Designer to join our Creative Department and help visually communicate the mission, vision, and message of North Way across our multi-site church.

The Graphic Designer will collaborate with members of the Creative Department and ministry teams to develop compelling, creative, and consistent visual content for a variety of platforms and ministry needs. This position will create graphics and visual materials for digital and print communications, social media, websites, events, weekend services, campaigns, campus environments, and other ministry initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a creative and collaborative designer who brings strong design skills, attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to translate ideas and messaging into engaging visual communication. This is a creative professional role requiring imagination, originality, artistic ability, and proficiency with current graphic design tools and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or formal training in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field preferred.
