Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is seeking a Graphic Designer / Output Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on creating vinyl and full-color graphics output, coordinating with the team to ensure high-quality finished products for signs, banners, and displays.

The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, delivering projects that meet exacting standards. Compensation ranges with a 31k–45k annual base and regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in graphic design / print production using PC and Mac.
• Expert knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Familiarity with vinyl plotters, large-format printers, laser engravers and CNC routers.
• Strong math and proofreading skills, including spelling and grammar.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and handle physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy first time.
• Prompt, reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Prepares comprehensive layouts, mockups, proofs and copy for print reproduction per client and sales instructions.
• Performs logo modification and sources high-quality digital files.
• Prepares files with bleeds, crop marks, die-lines, hole locations, and finishing layers; archives for future use.
• Inspects all jobs for accuracy and quality before production.
• Maintains accurate electronic and paper records.
• Works on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Loads materials into printers, table router, laser cutter and engraver; heavy lifting may be required.

As a Graphic Designer / Output Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to create computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. You will work closely with team members to ensure complete satisfaction with the final product. We manufacture a variety of printing and marketing solutions including signs, banners, window films, wall and floor graphics, installations and much more.

• Maintains accurate electronic and paper records.
• Works on multiple different projects simultaneously.
• Loads materials on/into printers, table router, laser cutter and engraver: which may require some heavy lifting.
