Job summary

Mentor A Promise, a New York City–based nonprofit serving children and youth, is seeking a Creative Designer to support the execution of visual assets across print and digital channels within established brand systems.

You will apply foundational design principles—typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy—design for social platforms and web, prepare files for output, and maintain organized working files while collaborating with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years experience.
• Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency.
• Basic Figma familiarity preferred.
• Portfolio required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Execute design and production tasks using templates and brand standards.
• Support creation of marketing, fundraising, program, and digital assets.
• Applies foundational design principles including typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
• Designs for digital platforms including social media and web

• Follow established file naming conventions, folder structures, and asset practices.
• Maintain orderly files, links, and archives for reuse.
