Job summary

RentQuest in Castleton, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support commercial and large-format printing. This on-site role bridges design and production, ensuring artwork is print-ready and optimized for a variety of substrates and output methods.

You will collaborate with clients to translate concepts into high-quality printed materials, design for business cards, brochures, banners and signage, and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in a print-focused design role (commercial and/or large format preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of print production processes, including digital and offset printing.
• Experience with prepress workflows and (Fiery) RIP software is a plus.
• Knowledge of color management (CMYK, Pantone, ICC profiles).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper file organization, archiving, and version control, and ability to pull previous print jobs from archives
• Print approved artwork on Ricoh digital printers according to specifications on the job ticket.

Position Overview
