Job summary

Image 360 in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a creative and detail-oriented designer to join our on-site team. The role focuses on producing high-quality proofs, coordinating with customers, and ensuring accurate color proofs and final outputs.

The ideal candidate has experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and RIP software, can handle multiple projects, lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple software programs, especially Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced level of experience using Adobe applications (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume work.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and sit viewing a computer screen for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers on file transfers, design options, proofs, and renders.
• Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending to plotter or printer.
• Provides accurate proofs/renderings to clients promptly.
• Maintains equipment and records of proofs/renderings.
• Collaborates with team across support departments and follows company policies.

Responsibilities

• Works with co-workers and customers with file transfers, design options, proofs, etc.
• Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer.
• Provides accurate proofs/renderings to clients in a timely manner.
• Communicates and works with customers to create and deliver high-quality, creative, and accurate proofs.
• Assists in the maintenance of all equipment, including computers, plotters, and printers.
• Maintains accurate electronic and paper records of File Storage for all proofs/renderings.
• Works on different projects simultaneously.
• Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple computer software programs is needed, specifically Adobe Creative Suite.
• Illustrator and Photoshop, and RIP software, including Flexi, Onyx, and Versa Works.
• Strong PC skills and internet, publishing software, and sign production software skills.
• Previous experience as a graphic designer, sign-related computer operator, or desktop publishing required, including an advanced level of experience using Adobe applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions, and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa).
• Able to work well under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
• Able to sit and view a computer screen for long periods.
• Able to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Able to use light power equipment.

Compensation

USD 40,000 per year
