About the Role

Acelab is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a contract basis. In this role, you\'ll bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling, creating design assets that strengthen our brand across digital and print channels. You\'ll work collaboratively with the marketing team to deliver work that resonates with our audience and drives our brand forward.

Responsibilities
  • Create Visual Concepts: Design striking visuals that communicate our brand message, using typography, imagery, and color to capture attention and convey meaning across campaigns and touchpoints.
  • Master the Tools: Work fluently in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software to produce everything from logos and layouts to social media graphics and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing, content creators, and stakeholders to ensure creative assets align with brand strategy and project goals, bringing fresh ideas to the table while meeting business objectives. Design sales and marketing collateral. Create templates for slide decks in Canva and Google Slides for Sales and AECO teams.
  • Champion Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve our brand guidelines, ensuring visual cohesion across all platforms and campaigns while finding opportunities for optimization. Spearhead brand kit refresh.
  • Manage Multiple Projects: Juggle various design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and managing your time effectively while maintaining quality standards. Create a suite of templates for social media and email campaigns. Create trade show booth designs and collateral.
  • Produce Diverse Assets: Design for multiple formats and platforms including websites, social media, email campaigns, presentations, product packaging, and print collateral.
  • Prepare Production-Ready Files: Deliver polished, print-ready files and properly formatted digital assets that meet technical specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Design Expertise: Strong foundation in design principles, color theory, and typography with a portfolio that demonstrates your range and creativity. A minimum of 5 years experience in hands-on graphic design, specifically with experience designing graphics for web pages, emails, social media, Google slides, and sales collateral. Experience in the AEC industry is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with contemporary design tools like Figma.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interpret creative briefs, articulate your design vision, and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders constructively. Ability to learn and produce work simultaneously.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Talent for translating complex concepts into clear, engaging visuals that connect with audiences and solve communication challenges.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail: Commitment to accuracy and polish in every deliverable, ensuring designs are both beautiful and functional.
