Communications: Graphic Design/Creative Services
Graphic Designer – Columbus Blue Jackets (Columbus, OH)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work with the creative team to design original elements including, but not limited to: newspaper advertisements, publications, e‑mail marketing, web banners and pop‑ups, sponsorship elements, signage, promotional and premium items, direct mail, TV graphics, digital and social media content.

Adapt design elements to carry the continuity of the Blue Jackets brand throughout all collateral.

Presents samples to supervisor or client for selection and approval.

Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed; present final layout to supervisor or client for approval.

Create finished layout, or prepare instructions for others to assemble, prepare final layouts and check proofs.

Review quality of final product before release to client.

Maintain image resource files.

Assist in maintaining and establishing Marketing and Creative Services Department design policies.
