BRIC Architecture is seeking a Graphic Designer and Visual Storyteller who can transform complex ideas, processes, and stories into compelling visual communications. This role partners with architectural, marketing, and firm leadership teams to create thoughtful and engaging graphics that support project pursuits, community engagement, design communication, and firm marketing initiatives.

From proposals and presentations to diagrams, illustrations, publications, and digital media, you'll help shape how BRIC communicates its work and values through visual storytelling.

What You'll Do

As Graphic Designer and Visual Storyteller at BRIC, you will:

  • Develop print and digital graphics that support proposals, interviews, marketing initiatives, and project communications.
  • Create diagrams, infographics, illustrations, presentations, and other visual tools that communicate architectural processes, project stories, and design concepts.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff, planners, architects, and engagement professionals to translate complex information into clear and engaging visual content.
  • Support the development and evolution of BRIC's graphic standards, templates, and visual identity.
  • Produce collateral that strengthens project storytelling and communicates the impact of our work to clients, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to website, social media, publication, and awards submissions.
  • Assist with the creation of renderings, presentation graphics, and visual materials that support community engagement and design workshops.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
What You Bring
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional experience developing graphic communications in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience creating layouts, infographics, data visualizations, and presentation materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation platforms.
  • Experience translating technical or complex information for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with architectural visualization, rendering workflows, or architecture-related software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, or similar visualization tools is a plus.
  • Experience supporting community engagement initiatives, educational environments, or public-sector projects is a plus.
  • Experience with visual facilitation, graphic recording, or workshop-based communications is a plus.
