Job description

Kingdom Culture Church is seeking a spirit led graphic designer to increase the overall impact and reach of our church. They will partner with various ministry leaders to create engaging print and digital content for sermons/seasons, church marketing, special events, outreaches, and various ministry areas. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, adapts quickly to change, and brings creative solutions to the table. This person is detail-oriented, open to feedback, and able to think outside the box while meeting tight deadlines. They are able to anticipate needs, collaborate well, and are passionate about using their design gifts to advance the Kingdom through excellence and intentionality. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to execute visual direction and support church messaging.
  • Design graphics for social media, announcements, and internal/external communications.
  • Create visual assets for events, seasonal designs (we focus on seasons rather than sermon series), and the annual church “Word of the Year” design.
  • Translate creative concepts into polished visuals aligned with Kingdom Culture Church’s branding and mission.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with excellence.
  • Anticipate design needs and contribute proactive, Spirit-led creative solutions.
  • Work in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment with strong attention to detail and adaptability.

Skills:

  • 2-4 Years of Experience in Graphic Design.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience with church, event, or seasonal design projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience using Monday.com, Basecamp, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
  • 1+ year in a church or ministry setting (or strong volunteer experience with churches/nonprofits if not employed by one)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Understanding of church communication rhythms (weekly services, church seasons, church-wide events, holidays, etc.)

Preferred but not necessary:

  • Experience with Website Design
  • Experience with video editing, including creating reels and adding visual elements.
