Job summary

Image 360 Arlington is seeking a talented In-Person Signage Designer and Production Specialist to join our team. You will design signage using Illustrator and Photoshop and run production tasks on printers, laminators, laser engravers, and cutters, with on-site installations for walls, windows, and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proven sign design proficiency with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent spelling/grammar; able to read a tape measure.
• At least two years' experience with Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with Onyx Thrive for ≥1 year.
• College degree or associate degree preferred; relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Design signage for clients efficiently, allocating ~15 minutes for simple projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand vision and provide practical design solutions.
• Verify signage accuracy in size, spelling, grammar before production.
• Operate printers, laminators, laser engravers and cutting tables.
• Assemble signs using weeding, taping, and graphics application.
• Install graphics on walls, windows, vehicles; follow safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support troubleshooting.
• Assist in team meetings and suggest workflow improvements.
• Contribute ideas to enhance operations and customer satisfaction.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated In-Person Signage Designer and Production Specialist to join our dynamic team at Image 360 Arlington. This multifaceted role involves both creative design work and hands‑on production and installation tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in sign design, primarily using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and have practical experience operating sign production equipment such as printers, laminators, laser engravers, and cutting tables. Additionally, the role requires the ability to assemble signs, apply graphics, and perform installations on various surfaces including walls, windows, and vehicles. Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in sign design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill.
• Excellent spelling, grammar, and mathematical skills, including the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with Onyx Thrive or equivalent RIP software for at least one year.
• College degree or an associate's degree in a related field is preferred, though extensive relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.

• Assemble signs by weeding, taping, and applying graphics using the Cut Work Table or similar tools.
• Install various types of graphics, including window, vehicle, wall, and dimensional signs, adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and suggest improvements to streamline workflow.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance overall operations and customer satisfaction.
