Opensity Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Graphic Designer to turn concepts into print and digital visuals. You will apply branding and marketing insights, work across media, and advance design from concept to final deliverable.

The role is Monday–Friday, 12:00p.m–9:00p.m., hybrid in Phoenix, with responsibilities across concept planning, art direction, client communications, and collaboration with marketing and printers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with desktop publishing tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, and Illustrator.
• Strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Description

The Graphic Designer is responsible for taking concepts and ideas and creating visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.

Shift

Monday to Friday 12:00p.m to 9:00p.m Hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ

• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.


• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.


• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.


• Communicating with clients about layout and design.


• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.


• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.


• Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.


• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.


• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.


• A strong eye for visual composition.


• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.


• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.


• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.


• Experience with computer‑aided design.

Compensation

The Compensation range for this role is 32.00 to 36.00 USD per hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
