Job summary

Proverbs 31 Ministries, Inc. in Matthews, NC, is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer to create design materials that reflect the ministry’s brand and engage its community.

You will lead the design of assets across print, web, email, social, and events, collaborating with marketing and web teams to support ministry growth while maintaining visual identity.

Hours are 25 per week in a hybrid role based in the metro Charlotte area, with a temporary term through June 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred.
• 3+ years of design experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience working with Basecamp, Google Docs, Slack and Hubspot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and execution of assets across print materials, websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, presentations, and other ministry initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, content, engagement, and web teams to develop creative solutions that support ministry goals and audience growth.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs from concept through final delivery.
• Design and prepare print-ready files for books, study guides, event collateral, signage, direct mail, promotional materials, and conference assets.
• Assist in the conceptualization, design, and optimization of digital experiences—including websites and landing pages—using UI/UX best practices, responsive web design principles, and user-centered thinking to support lead generation, audience engagement, and ministry growth.
• Design and execute creative assets for ministry events, book launches, donor events, and other ministry gatherings.
• Serve as a steward of Proverbs 31 Ministries' visual identity by ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while identifying opportunities for creative innovation.
• Leverage AI-powered creative tools and image-generation platforms responsibly to support ideation, concept development, workflow efficiency, and creative problem-solving.

What You’ll Bring

• An understanding of and a commitment to the mission and statement of faith of Proverbs 31 Ministries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred
• 3+ years of design experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience working with Basecamp, Google Docs, Slack and Hubspot preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
