Job summary

NorthPoint Development is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Kansas City team. You will create compelling visual designs for print, digital, and web, translating complex information into clean, engaging visuals for clients and stakeholders.

You’ll collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to produce brochures, social graphics, presentations, and websites using WordPress or Webflow. A design-focused portfolio and 3+ years’ experience are preferred, with a strong eye for typography

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience designing and maintaining websites using WordPress and Webflow preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling visual designs for print and digital assets.
• Translate technical information into clear visuals for broad audiences.
• Create a wide range of assets: posters, flyers, reports, social graphics, emails, presentations, GIFs, animations, video, websites, branding.
• Collaborate with marketing and cross‑functional teams to manage multiple projects.

What You’ll Do

The successful candidate will fulfill the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Develop compelling, professional visual designs that communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the public.
• Interpret and distill highly technical information into clear, engaging visuals for mainstream audiences.
• Design and produce a wide range of creative assets, including:
  • Print materials (posters, flyers, direct mail, reports)
  • Digital marketing assets (social media graphics, email campaigns)
  • Presentations
  • Interactive media (GIFs, animations, video)
  • Websites
  • Branding (logos, style guides, visual identity systems)
• Support marketing and brand initiatives through email marketing, website content management, event materials, promotional products, office signage, presentations, and other print and digital assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives while managing multiple projects and priorities.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with 3+ years of graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining websites using WordPress and Webflow is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
• Strong understanding of digital design, layout, typography, and visual communication across print and web.
• Excellent creative, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
