Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Corporate Marketing team. The Designer will work within an in-house team collaborating with Marketing, Brand, and Product Managers to uphold design standards across all channels.

Responsibilities include creating on-brand graphics, packaging concepts, and marketing materials while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or related field; two years’ experience equals one year education.
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Excellent portfolio of design work demonstrating a high level of design proficiency.
  • Google Workspace competency.
  • Demonstrates ability to take on multiple projects.
  • Represent the company to outside vendors.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven.
  • Dependable with initiative and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to accept occasional travel assignments.
  • Remain abreast of technological advances in the field and identify usable areas in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design on-brand static graphics, animations, infographics, and short-form video assets for social platforms.
  • Assist in development and implementation of consumer packaging, store display materials, and other marketing assets.
  • Maintain brand equity aligned with corporate initiatives and plans.
  • Coordinate with Package Administrators to ensure FDA design standards.
  • Review and approve artwork before print.
  • Create on-trend packaging designs based on market research and management input.
  • Design marketing collateral or brand identity as needed.
  • Coordinate with professionals to gather packaging information.
  • Communicate with external vendors to develop artwork and keep packaging current.
  • Provide packaging mockups as needed.
  • Establish color standards and obtain color approvals.

Pay Salaried grade 2, 4, 6, or 8 $52,600 - $92,500 / year, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Corporate Marketing team. The Graphic Designer will work as part of an in-house team that collaborates with Marketing, Brand, and Product Managers to help develop, execute and maintain excellent design standards of in-house brands and assure accurate and beneficial content across all channels.

Responsibilities
  • Design on-brand static graphics, animations, infographics, and short-form video assets for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Assist in the development and implementation of consumer packaging, store display materials, marketing materials, and other various digital and print applications
  • Maintain brand equity based on corporate initiatives and operational plans
  • Work with Package Administrators to assure government compliance on ingredient lists, net weight, and nutrition facts using FDA design standards
  • Review and approve artwork to ensure accuracy before print
  • Research, conceptualize and create on-trend packaging designs for our consumer products based on market research, management input, and corporate initiatives
  • Design marketing collateral or brand identity as needed for the company
  • Coordinate effectively with other company professionals to obtain information for packaging
  • Communicate with external vendors to develop artwork and keep packaging current
  • Provide packaging mockups as needed
  • Establish color standards and obtains color approvals
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field or equivalent experience (two years’ experience = one year education)
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Excellent portfolio of design work demonstrating a high level of design proficiency
  • Google Workspace competency
  • Demonstrates increasing capacity to take on multiple projects
  • Appropriately represent the company to outside vendors

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of related graphic design experience
  • Competency in Adobe Premiere, Capcut, or equivalent videography software
  • Knowledge of flexographic and offset printing techniques and prepress process
  • Prior participation experience on cross-functional teams
  • Package design development across a CPG brand
  • Product photography experience
  • Point of purchase display production experience
  • Knowledge of FTC and FDA laws
