Job summary

Liaison Creative + Marketing is seeking a Graphic Designer to join an embedded creative services team supporting a leading high‑tech client. You will work with Senior Creative Leadership to develop concepts and bring ideas to life across marketing collateral, data visuals, social graphics, and events.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of agency/in-house design experience in a high-tech environment, a strong Adobe Creative Cloud skillset, and a portfolio showcasing end-to-end production.

Qualifications

• Must have 4-6 years of Graphic Design experience, agency or in-house, in a high-tech setting.
• Demonstrated online portfolio showing concept to production with diverse projects (events, social, branding, collateral).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with non-design partners.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Liaison Creative + Marketing has an ongoing, full-time, full-benefits career opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join an embedded creative services team supporting a cutting-edge, high-tech client and world leader in high-performance computing. You’ll work closely with Senior Creative Leadership to develop concepts and lead bringing those ideas to life across a wide range of creative projects.

This is an ideal opportunity for a designer with 4-6 years of agency and/or in-house creative experience in a high-tech setting, combining strong conceptual thinking with hands‑on design and production skills. Your mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud, typography, traditional graphic design fundamentals, visual problem‑solving skills, and willingness to explore new tools will serve you well.

This is a hybrid role (2-3 days onsite) in Austin, Texas, so we can only consider candidates in the greater Austin area.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work with Senior Creative Leadership to develop concepts and lead bringing ideas to life.
• Exercise your visual problem‑solving skills on projects spanning marketing collateral, data visualization, social graphics, sales tools, branding, internal programs, swag, and setting a visual tone for industry events.
• Pitch ideas to the creative team and internal clients to help drive the strongest visual storytelling solutions.
• Collaborate with internal clients and other creatives to quickly develop multiple proofs of concept.
• Use your Adobe Creative Cloud expertise, typography skills, and strong graphic design sensibilities to create compelling visual stories.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate with key partners across teams.

HOW TO BE A TOP CANDIDATE

• 4-6 years of Graphic Design experience that includes agency and/or in-house creative experience. Experience working in the tech sector (hardware, software, peripherals) is a plus.
• An exceptional online portfolio demonstrating your ability to take work from initial idea through production-ready files (yup, you can build what you design!). Work should include a wide range of projects (events, social, campaign development, branding, web, and marketing collateral).
• Confidence and adaptability in using AI-powered tools to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, and produce high-quality visual assets efficiently.
• A passion for staying current on technical and aesthetic approaches to design communication.
• A willingness to continually grow, learn, and develop new skills.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, and changing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working autonomously.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Working knowledge of motion graphics or 3D software, including After Effects or Blender, is preferred but not required.
