Job summary

A leading sign company in Albuquerque is seeking a Full-time Graphic Designer to create graphics and manage designs. Responsibilities include producing high-quality graphics, modifying customer designs, and ensuring accuracy in output. The ideal candidate has graphic design experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. This role also requires the ability to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, providing opportunities for growth and skills development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more).
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings.
• Determine size and arrangement of material and copy.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending to output.
• Maintain customer logo library.

Responsibilities:

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
