Job summary

Stifel in the United States seeks a Graphic Design Intern to assist with layout and branding in a corporate environment. You will learn by shadowing senior designers, support templated requests, and help translate branding rules across branches and departments.

Strong communication and organization are essential as you contribute to multiple projects and deadlines. This internship offers hands-on experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Creative Cloud on iOS, while building

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college with a focus on Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• At least 1 year of college completed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Experience on iOS using Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the layout and customization of templated requests for branches and other Stifel departments.
• Assist with logo ideation projects while considering various logo applications and branding goals.
• Learn, understand, and follow the Stifel corporate brand and explain branding requirements to branches and departments.

The Graphic Design Intern will assist with basic layout of text and graphic elements for marketing materials including resizing and personalizing existing materials/templates. This role will have the opportunity to strengthen design skills and learn about graphic design in a corporate environment.

• Assists with the layout and customization of templated requests for branches and other Stifel departments.
• Assists with logo ideation projects as requested - keeping in mind the various applications that a logo could be used in and the goal of the project.
• Learns, understands, and follows the Stifel corporate brand, as well as ability to explain branding requirements and rules to branch and department associates.
• Shadows senior design team members to learn more about designing in house for a financial firm.
• Assists with other design related projects as directed.
• Serve as an active team member by attending and participating in department and team meetings as necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal interactions.
• Adaptable, highly organized individual with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects of varying importance with varying deadlines.
• Able to work well with others; strong team player as well as ability to work independently.
• Minimum Required: Enrolled in college with a focus on Marketing, Communications, or Related Field.
• Minimum Required: 1 year of college completed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience on iOS using Adobe Creative Cloud.
