Job summary

Stifel Financial Corp. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Field Development Intern to support our growth initiatives and help develop the next generation of Financial Advisors.

This hands-on role offers exposure to recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and performance tracking in a collaborative team setting. You will work closely with the Director of Field Development, Regional Directors, and Branch Managers to contribute to program improvements and deliver timely reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High School Diploma or equivalent; pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Pursuing undergraduate degree related to business or finance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of training events for new Financial Advisors, both in-person and virtual.
• Support tracking of Financial Advisor progress through training, maintaining data on production metrics and milestones.
• Help prepare offer letters and onboarding materials for newly hired Financial Advisor Trainees.
• Organize and schedule regular training and progress update calls.
• Collaborate with Field Development team to deliver communications to branch managers and trainees.
• Assist with data entry, report generation, and analysis of Financial Advisor performance data.
• Support ad hoc projects to improve the training program and hiring process.

What You'll Be Doing

The Field Development Intern will assist the Field Development team by supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing the firm's growth strategies and developing our next generation of Financial Advisors. This internship offers a hands-on learning experience, working closely with the Director of Field Development, Regional Directors, and Branch Managers. The intern will contribute to key areas of the program, including helping with the recruitment and onboarding process, assisting with training coordination, and supporting the tracking of production metrics for new Financial Advisors.

What We're Looking For
