Job summary

Simple Modern in Oklahoma is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support the creative team this summer, creating surface art for branded and licensed patterns and assisting with custom sales projects.

The ideal candidate is a creative, hardworking student pursuing a graphic design degree with a portfolio of illustration or pattern work, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and eager to contribute ideas.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related field.
• Strong interest in surface art, patterns, and trends.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
• Creative thinker who enjoys identifying trends and generating new ideas.
• Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A portfolio of illustration, pattern, or strong design work.

Responsibilities

• Working within branded guidelines and trend reports, as well as Licensed IP (Disney, Nickelodeon, NFL, etc).
• Create print ready artwork for application on Simple Modern products.
• Generating mockups and artwork for the Custom Sales department.
• Provide general support to the creative team based on seasonal priorities and business needs.
• Bring new ideas, trends, and creative inspiration to the team
