Job summary

Ampact is seeking a talented graphic design intern to join the marketing and communications team for a part-time, paid internship (about 10 hours per week). The role focuses on creating graphics that follow brand style guides and help build a portfolio. This is a great chance to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Applicants must live in IA (and other listed states) and submit work samples or a portfolio link. Opportunity for extension beyond May 2027 is possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a certificate or degree in graphic design or related discipline.
• Submit work samples or provide a link to an online portfolio that demonstrates aptitude for graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics for social media, blogs, emails, and presentations using brand templates and style guides.
• Research, tag, and prep photos and image libraries for marketing use.
• Maintain a library of images and templates.
• Support photo and video shoots or event photography.
• Collaborate with supervisor to develop new templates and improve visual impact.
