Haworth is seeking a paid Graphic Design Intern to join our Washington, DC team for a 12-week summer program. The role blends hands-on design with mentorship in a dynamic workspace. You’ll help produce brochures, lookbooks, and client materials while learning Haworth brand standards.

The position is hybrid, with roughly three days in the Washington DC showroom and two days remote. Applicants should be enrolled in a Graphic Design program and eligible to work in the US.

We are currently looking fora paid Graphic Design Intern to join our team in Washington D.C.This position is hybrid, with approximately 3 days per week in person at our Washington D.C. showroom and 2 days remote.

Job Overview

Client Engagement Studio (CES) supports field sales client pursuit opportunities through highly customized, branded collateral, including presentations, lookbooks, marketing materials, event collateral, and template development. Based in Washington, D.C., the Graphic Design Intern will join a team of highly creative professionals who collaborate to create meaningful and intentional deliverables, provide coaching and strategic guidance, and continuously seek new ways to engage clients.

As a Graphic Design intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of exciting projects including helping create and update brochures, marketing materials, and other client-facing content while learning Haworth brand and design standards. You'll contribute to key marketing projects and develop new collateral with guidance from the team

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On-site in Washington D.C. from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.
• Adobe Suite (InDesign Illustrator, Photoshop) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Prior Haworth experience.
• Extra-curricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
• Video Editing (Adobe Premiere and After Effects)

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
