Job summary

Haworth in Holland, MI is seeking a paid Year-Round Product Sourcing Intern to join onsite at the Corporate Headquarters. You will engage in estimating, pricing strategy, quantity takeoffs, sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and supplier coordination to deliver tangible business outcomes.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, gain exposure to manufacturing processes, and participate in strategic cost/sourcing decisions that shape projects for stakeholders across Haworth.

Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Sales, or Supply Chain Management by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, or similar productivity software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software.

We are currently looking for a paid Year-Round Product Sourcing Intern to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters.

As an Architectural Solutions intern, you'll get hands-on experience with the business side of construction. You'll develop skills in estimating, pricing strategy, quantity takeoffs, sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and supplier coordination. You'll also participate in making strategic & tactical cost and sourcing decisions to create successful results for all stakeholders. This is a fast-paced internship that will advance your ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and accomplish real business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain Management with at least a level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, or similar productivity software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Prior Haworth experience.
• Previous Employment experience.
• Extra-curricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.

• Knowledge of estimating/quoting processes
• Knowledge of procurement & quoting software.
• Knowledge of project management.
• Knowledge of logistics.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
