Job summary

URI Athletics in Kingston, RI, is seeking a Graphic Design Associate to support Athletics and Ryan Center marketing with brand-consistent design creation and delivery management.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to produce web pages, social graphics, signage, and internal communications, ensuring alignment with the URI Athletics Brand Guide and staying current on design trends.

The Graphic Design Associate role supports URI Athletics and Ryan Center marketing through brand-aligned design creation and delivery management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple teams to brainstorm, strategize, and produce a range of materials such as web pages, social media graphics, sales collateral, signage, internal communications, and marketing pieces.
• Create high-level graphic design assets to strengthen URI Athletics’ image while following the URI Athletics Brand Guide.
• Stay current on graphic design trends to help maintain strong brand recognition for URI Athletics.
• Manage the full design and upload process for project materials using the Athletics Marketing content management system.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.

Requirements

• Strong creativity and design skills.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to continue building a skill set.
• Working knowledge of additional Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and similar tools.
• Proficiency with photo editing software.
