Job summary

FASTSIGNS Ann Arbor is seeking a Graphic Designer and Sign Production Specialist to collaborate with our growing team. The role involves creating graphics that excite while also delivering clean, eye-catching designs for various substrates and vehicles.

You will work closely with sales to interpret project specs, operate large-format equipment, and contribute to the shop's organization and material orders. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school or higher education is required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• Interest in signage and graphics is important.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the sales team to understand project specifications.
• Create full-color graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Operate large-format printers, laminators, vinyl cutters, and saws.
• Apply vinyl graphics to rigid substrates, vehicles, and windows.
• Order sign materials and keep the shop clean and orderly.

Responsibilities Include

• Interacting with the sales team to understand project specifications
• Creating full-color computer-generated graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Operating large-format printers, laminators, vinyl cutters, and saws
• Applying vinyl graphics to rigid substrates (plastics and metals), vehicles, and windows
• Ordering sign materials and maintaining a clean and orderly shop

Requirements

• High school or higher education
• Valid drivers license
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Self-motivation and problem-solving skills
• Interest in signage and graphics
• High level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop

Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
