Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Graphic Artist – Multimedia to support the Corporate Communications team in creating branded digital, social media, video and email content.

The role assists with incoming requests, follows brand templates, and collaborates with senior staff to deliver high-quality multimedia materials. Responsibilities include editing video, producing graphics, and supporting photography for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent experience
• Zero to two years of relevant professional experience
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
• Understanding of typography, composition and visual storytelling
• Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating relevant graphic design, video editing and multimedia capabilities
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize and assist with coordinating incoming graphic and multimedia requests

• Create and update presentations and supporting graphics in PowerPoint
• Assist with photography and video shoots and provide production support
• Perform photo editing and basic post-production work
• Organize and maintain video, photo and graphic assets
• Support corporate events with photography, video and multimedia content
• Review work for accuracy and brand adherence
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications and internal clients
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The Graphic Artist – Multimedia supports KCI’s Corporate Communications team through the production of branded digital, social media, video, email, presentation and other multimedia content. This entry-level position assists with incoming graphic and multimedia requests and creates materials within established KCI brand standards and templates for internal and external audiences.

Working under the direction of senior creative staff, the Graphic Artist supports video editing, motion graphics, digital content and general graphic design while developing technical skills and knowledge of KCI’s visual identity. The position works across a variety of corporate communications projects and provides day-to-day graphic and multimedia production support.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Edit video content for social media, recruiting, corporate communications, events and other company initiatives.


• Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to support video editing, motion graphics, animations and other multimedia content.


• Design graphics and visual content for KCI’s corporate social media channels.


• Resize, reformat and adapt graphics and video for various digital and social media platforms.


• Design and produce email communications using established templates and brand guidelines.


• Use Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, to create and edit graphics and digital materials.


• Create and update presentations and supporting graphics using Microsoft PowerPoint.


• Assist with photography and video shoots, including equipment setup and production support.


• Perform photo editing, image correction and basic post-production work.


• Assist with the organization and maintenance of video, photography and graphic assets.


• Support corporate events through photography, video and multimedia content as needed.


• Review work for accuracy, consistency and adherence to established brand standards.


• Work collaboratively with Corporate Communications team members and internal clients.


• Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet quick-turnaround deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia, digital media or a related field, or equivalent experience.


• Zero to two years of relevant professional experience.


• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.


• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.


• Understanding of fundamental graphic design and multimedia principles, including typography, composition, visual hierarchy, pacing and visual storytelling.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work within established templates and brand guidelines.


• Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating relevant graphic design, video editing and multimedia capabilities required.
