This position is responsible for designing and producing published materials for Tryon Palace. The responsibilities of the position are diverse, fast paced and collaborative. This position is expected to maintain Tryon Palace’s look, brand, and messaging across all published materials including marketing collateral, advertising, in-house publications, development/membership materials, invitations, signage, digital ads and communications, exhibit signage, brochure layout and design, calendars and others.
Recruitment Range: $33,902.00 - $46,000.00

Associate’s degree in visual/graphic design, commercial art or related area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution:

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
AND
two years of experience in visual/graphic design, commercial art, or related to the area of assignment;
OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Public Affairs performs a range of public information and public related work for Tryon Palace. This work includes developing and delivering promotional and informational materials through a variety of information media – print, digital, radio, broadcast and social media. The Public Affairs team also includes Development and Special Events. Together, they work collaboratively to engage the public with Tryon Palace and build support for its mission.
