zaimler is building the next-generation semantic platform that links fragmented enterprise data and extracts meaning with knowledge-distilled models. We’re creating the foundation for AI systems that retrieve, link, and reason over enterprise knowledge.

Our team partners with Fortune 500 design partners and is backed by top VCs. We’re hiring engineers to extend the query engine, build cross-source capabilities, and work directly in core components like the coordinator, compiler, and executor.

Qualifications

• Strong database fundamentals and understanding of storage layers.
• Experience running systems at real production scale.
• Background in OS, file systems, distributed systems, or database internals.
• Ability to work from ambiguous, evolving problems.
• Bias toward hands-on execution over pure architecture.

Responsibilities

• Extend query engine language and function support over time.
• Build cross-source query capabilities spanning multiple data sources.
• Work on storage and indexing layer used by the query engine.
• Maintain the layer that queries external systems like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Work directly in the engine's core: coordinator, compiler, executor.
