Job summary

Reply is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Chicago-based team to contribute to data-driven and generative AI solutions for client engagements. You will design and build data pipelines, graph models, and GraphRAG-powered AI applications on top of cloud data platforms.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data engineering, strong Python, hands-on GenAI experience, and comfort working directly with clients in a consulting context.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Python.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
Experience developing ETL pipelines and familiarity with ETL frameworks.
Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
Experience with graph databases (Neo4j).
Hands-on GenAI/LLM projects, including RAG and GraphRAG.
Direct client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Build and maintain graph database models supporting downstream applications.
Design and implement RAG/GraphRAG pipelines for generative AI apps.
Collaborate with data engineers and scientists on AI-driven solutions.
Engage directly with client stakeholders — gathering requirements and presenting progress.
Collaborate with a small cross-functional delivery team.
