Job Summary: | The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Department of Pathology is seeking applications for a Research Services Senior Professional. This full-time, University Staff (non-classified) position will be responsible for managing program administration, logistical support, and financial management of grants and contracts for the Director of Finance and Administration, Vice Chair of Research and designees. It will include fiscal and administrative responsibilities for the effective operation of the grant management process, both pre-award and post-award.This will also include special projects and programs for Director of Finance and Administration, Vice-Chair of Research and Principal Investigators (PI). This position will interact with Department Administration, faculty, sponsors, PRA's and on a regular basis. Effective, pro-active communication will be necessary across departmental and central administration lines. Excellent business conduct and presentation required, as well as ability to maintain effective lines of communication. Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of faculty and staff, and receive mentoring from multiple levels of administration. Self-motivated to complete tasks and work ahead on projects, even in the absence of supervisors This position will assist the Director of Finance and Administration with monitoring the integrity of Grant and Contract management accounting process in order to ensure that financial processes are maintained in an accurate and timely manner. Serves a as resource to faculty, and staffwithin the Department of Pathology to keep them informed of financial and administrative matters, and maintain proper compliance. This position is also responsible for the recording, analyzing and maintaining of paper and electronic financial records. Key Responsibilities: PRE-AWARD DUTIES 25%

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: $56,554-$71,936 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
