Job summary

The Research Coordinator in the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Maryland, College Park works with PIs through the development, submission, award, execution and closeout of sponsored projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of research administration procedures and proposal development.
• Knowledge of federal grant compliance and OMB Circulars A-21, A-110, and A-133.
• Skill in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist PIs with proposal development and submission processes.
• Prepare proposal budgets and gather information to support costs.
