Job summary

Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority seeks a Grants Coordinator to maintain and enhance grant and capital project management systems, ensuring accurate, timely actions and full compliance with funding requirements.

As much funding is grant-funded, the role safeguards the Authority's resources by preventing inaccuracies that could lead to funding loss, and collaborates across departments to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a business-related field, preferably with grants.
• Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and complete division activities involving grants and capital projects.
• Ensure proper procedures and internal controls related to grants and capital projects are in compliance with federal and state regulations and GAAP.
• Works with the Senior Manager FP&A on grant compliance and keeps current on all funding programs and requirements.
• Assist with processing new projects, tracking existing projects, and working with Project Managers on modifications and closeouts.
• Prepares monthly project reports and advises management on trends, open items, and actions.
