Job summary

VentureWell is seeking a Grants Administration Officer to drive end-to-end grant programs across multiple teams. You will streamline workflows, administer awards and subcontracts, and provide expert support for our grants platform to internal partners and applicants.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Programs, Finance, and external constituents, with a strong focus on process improvement and customer service. A nonprofit background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of grant administration experience in nonprofit, foundation, or government.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering grant administration.
• Strong project management to meet deadlines and deliver good service.
• Excellent written and oral communication with ability to synthesize information.
• Ability to analyze data and extract key insights for recommendations.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-focused in complex settings.
• Digital fluency with cloud tools, CRMs, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support grants, competitions, and subaward programs across VentureWell areas.
• Create, launch, and execute all phases of grant workflows including onboarding and reporting.
• Develop guidelines, questionnaires, evaluation criteria, and materials.
• Build and manage end-to-end RFP processes with reviewers and guidance.
• Provide high-quality customer service and system support to applicants and grantees.
• Communicate with applicants about system requirements and eligibility.
• Manage onboarding, awards, and communications to ensure accurate records.
• Support compliance onboarding and contracting for grant recipients and subrecipients.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
