Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Management Analyst II to support foreign assistance programs, grants, and awards across the full lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with Grants Officers, program staff, and interagency partners to ensure compliant administration and reporting in alignment with U.S.

policy objectives. The candidate will have a federal grants background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex funding systems within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4–7 years of government grants management experience.
• Experience with federal grants management regulations (e.g., 2 CFR 200) and related policies.
• Familiarity with foreign assistance platforms and interagency coordination.
• Proficient in financial analysis, fiscal review, and risk/compliance assessment.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements for awards administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, operational, and analytical support across pre- to post-award cycles.
• Evaluate changes in scopes, activities, or budgets negotiated between recipients and program offices.
• Coordinate with interagency partners and finance offices to ensure compliant grant closeouts.
• Maintain official project files and support monitoring, audit readiness, and reporting.
• Review grantee financial reports and help resolve compliance or risk issues.
• Draft memos related to award administration and monitoring plans.
